Understory Ocean Jasper Druzy Necklace

Understory takes its name from that quieter layer of the woods—moss, ferns, tiny blooms, shadowed places, and the unexpected details you only notice when you’re paying attention.

This one-of-a-kind Ocean Jasper is filled with soft blush pink, creamy white and earthy green formations surrounding a natural druzy pocket at its center. Tiny crystals inside the opening catch the light with just a bit of sparkle—subtle enough that you discover it rather than see it coming.

I framed the stone in recycled sterling silver with a hand-hammered surround, then paired it with a lightly oxidized, mid-weight sterling cable chain. A handcrafted front hook closes directly at the bail, making the necklace easy to put on and take off while becoming part of the design itself.

It has a little more presence than a delicate everyday pendant, but still feels relaxed and wonderfully wearable.
